Cookie Policy & Local Storage
Version 1.0 • Effective: September 2026 • Governs web sessions and student portal interactions
1What Are Cookies & Web Storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Modern web applications also use HTML5 Local Storage and Session Storage to store data securely on your device. Techfasta uses these mechanisms to maintain your authenticated learning session, secure form submissions, and maintain real-time course subscriptions.
2Cookies & Storage Mechanisms Used by TechFasta
Techfasta only employs technologies genuinely required to operate our learning platform:
Maintains your authenticated session token, user role, and email verification status across dashboard page reloads.
Duration: Persistent until user log out
Remembers whether you have accepted, rejected, or customized cookie preferences so the banner is not displayed on every page visit.
Duration: 12 months
Maintains a secure WebSocket channel to synchronize live lesson attendance, Google Meet schedule changes, and real-time payment verification statuses.
Duration: Session lifetime
3Third-Party Infrastructure Services
Techfasta integrates with trusted technology partners who manage infrastructure:
- Convex Inc.: Cloud database and backend compute. Handles live WebSocket connections and session tokens.
- Vercel Inc.: High-performance Next.js edge hosting. Sets standard security and edge-routing cookies.
- Resend: Dispatches 6-digit email OTPs and cohort announcements. Resend does not track student web browsing cookies.
4Managing Your Cookie Choices
You can modify your cookie choices anytime through our floating cookie settings icon, or directly within your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) by clearing your site data for techfasta.com.
